EST. 2015 HAND-FIT, BENCH-BUILT LINCOLN, NE
Persimmon Pro Club Fitting
Lincoln, NE · Heritage Fitting Workshop

Fit on the Bench. Proven on the Numbers.

Persimmon Pro pairs old-fashioned bench craft — hand shaft-frequency matching, a loft-lie machine, a swingweight scale that never needs recalibrating — with a modern launch monitor. Nebraska wind and a January cold snap don't get a say in either one.

What a Frequency Analyzer Catches That a Screen Alone Won't

A launch monitor tells you what a club did after impact. A frequency analyzer and a swingweight scale tell you whether the club is actually built correctly in the first place. We run both, on every fitting, because the second question usually comes first.

01 / Diagnose

Launch Monitor Data

Ball speed, spin, and dispersion, logged swing after swing, with no wind or cold to blur what the club actually did.

02 / Match

Hand Frequency-Matching

Every shaft in a set gets clamped and plucked on the analyzer until the whole set steps down in even cycles — a check most simulator-only fittings skip entirely.

03 / Confirm

Swingweight & Balance

Head, shaft, and grip get weighed against each other on the same scale used to finish the build, so the spec card matches what leaves the bench.

Why It Matters

A Set That Steps Down the Same Way, Club to Club

Most sets bought off a rack were never checked against each other — a 7-iron can flex noticeably differently than the 8-iron next to it in the bag. Frequency-matching irons them out to a tight, even progression, so a swing that works on one club works the same way two clubs later.

One Bench, Every Club in the Bag

Every fitting starts with the same swing capture and the same rate sheet, whether it's a single wedge or a ground-up bag rebuild.

The Visit

Four Stops Between the Door and the Spec Card

Swing Capture

Your current clubs get logged on the launch monitor before anything new gets tested, so we have a real baseline instead of a guess.

Bench Comparison

Candidate heads and shafts get hit back to back, then checked on the frequency analyzer and swingweight scale.

Cross-Check

Numbers get compared against our outdoor range notes so the recommendation isn't resting on one data source alone.

Spec & Build

You leave with a printed spec card, and clubs are built on this same bench, usually within a week.

Client Notes

What Golfers Say After a Bench Session

★★★★★

Nobody had ever frequency-matched my irons before. The set feels like one club now instead of seven slightly different ones.

★★★★★

I came in expecting a simulator sales pitch. Instead I got a swingweight scale, a real conversation, and a build that actually held up on the course.

★★★★★

The putter plate work alone was worth the trip. My stroke path was way more inconsistent than I thought once it was actually measured.
